As a 34 year old Samoan woman, life is taking a different turn and new journey as I venture into the online dating world. I never thought I would join the world on a platform like that however, when you don't go out clubbing or have a hectic social life, your options are a bit limited, right?
What's the blog about?
The blog will cover my dating journey. The experiences, learnings and of course the good and bad, highs and lows. I want to share my journey as I navigate from the end of the other side of the tunnel and, to have something to reflect back on when I reach the end with the light.
I chose to start dating as I closed myself off for years to focus on my career, studies and figuring out what works for me and what my future is going to look like. And now, I think is a great time to explore! And why not? I'm single and ready. Well, that's half the truth. I'm not 100% ready. I'm going into this with the guidance of my two Yoda's - one of my closest cousins and younger sister. Drawing from their experiences and everyone's advice (solicited and unsolicited) throughout my life to help me form a good path to finding Mr Right. Or Mr has game, Mr has a job, Mr feels honoured to be with me. Am I asking or expecting too much? Absolutely not! The bar is set high. Definitely higher than where it hung for my ex's, haha!
